100% profit does not always mean 100% profit.  Most online fundraisers push the cost to the donors. While they may give the organization 100% of the proceeds, many remove the credit card fees from the 100% or they charge the donors the fees + a commission percentage or ask for tips.

One of the philosophies our platform was built on came from our founder—a band director's wife and her husband never liked seeing generous donors surprised with additional platform fees at checkout. That's why we originally designed our digital calendar fundraiser with no donor fees. Today, we recognize that every organization has different needs, so we also offer the option to pass processing fees on to donors. However, we've found that the majority of our groups still prefer our popular 85/15 split, allowing donors to give exactly what they intended without any additional fees. It's just another way we give organizations the flexibility to choose what works best for their fundraising goals while creating the best possible experience for their supporters.
